Hello everyone! I am a California native who wants to venture off and explore what the rest of the world has to offer. I will be going out to Italy for the first time on May 9th and I'm THRILLED. My fondest trips to me have to be out on the open road with the family, checking out the western United States in all its glory. Oh yeah, and Hawaii wasn't bad either ;)

Thanks for the advice… I was thinking the same thing, b/c I’ll be landing in Rome around 6:30 p.m. and miss out on the introductions. Ah well, I’ll have plenty of time the next day :)

I will be travelling to Europe for the first time in May alone and I’m really looking forward to it. After reading this article and other’s comments, I have become even more excited to make the trek solo!
