Unarguably one of the most happening inner-city districts for pub lovers in Sydney is the historic Rocks district. Close to the site of the original British settlement, it is now filled with a mix of historic pubs, bars and places to eat with enough variety and choice to satisfy almost anyone.

Chinatown stretches along Hay Street and Dixson Streets in the city and offers over 30 different restaurants serving hundreds of oriental dishes.

The heart of the city is filled with a huge variety of bars and clubs that come alive after 5pm every day with some staying open 24 hours a day. Darling Harbour is also home to some great waterside bars as well as Home nightclub – easily one of the best clubs in the country.

For a shadier side of Syndey’s nightlife as well as some very small but very funky bars and clubs you must visit Kings Cross.
