Whenever you travel outside of your home country your most important travel document is your passport.

If you are intending on traveling on a Contiki Tour outside of your home country and do not have a passport you need to obtain one.

When planning your tour you should take into consideration and allow sufficient time for your passport application to be processed and delivered to you.

It is in no way Contiki’s responsibility to organise your passport.

If you have multiple passports, it is advisable to carry them all with you as in differing circumstances some may be more useful for travel than others.

What happens if you loose your passport?

If you do loose your passport or have it stolen while on tour (or any time you travel) it is your own responsibility to report the loss to the local authorities as well as to the issuing authority of the country who issued you the the passport.

Replacement passports can usually be applied for and issued at your home consulate usually in the capital city of the country you are visiting.

Most countries maintain consulates in national capitals and occasionally in other major cities. The process of obtaining a replacement passport may be faster if you have copies of your original passport, alternative forms of identification and passport photos.

Please Note: Your passport will need to be valid for 6 months or more upon entering a foreign country.
