The day song (sometimes known as the ‘morning song’) is a Contiki tradition that has endured for decades the world over.

The song is chosen by the Tour Manager, Driver or tour cook (camping tours only) of each tour and it is played at the start of travel days while on tour.

As one veteran tour manager was once quoted: “At first you may hate it, then you’ll come to accept it, and by the end of the tour, hopefully you’ll love it and every time you hear it, the song will remind you of your adventures on tour” – very well said!

Usually the day song is different for every tour as each tour manager has their own style, however it is not uncommon for some tours to share the same song.
