Rates of exchange vary from minute to minute depending on world markets.

For up to date rates of exchange check out: xe.com

Please note: When exchanging cash or travellers cheques it’s best to check the rate and commission before making the exchange. Asking how much you will receive for what you want to exchange is always good practice.

Many exchange outlets offer ‘no commission’ exchange but the actual rate that they exchange at is not in your favor.

Once on tour, your Tour Manager will be able to recommend some good place to make exchanges in the local area, otherwise banks generally have competitive exchange rates.

  1. Exchange at the airport is not always best. If you can, exchange at your hotel. They usually have pretty good exchange rates.

  2. If you’re travelling to London, England, the exchange rates offered by many of the smaller cash exchanges along Oxford street are a lot better than the ones offered by Travelex (very poor)....like wise, smaller, independent exchanges and banks will offer you better rates back home.
