Tour Manager Opinions
“This three hour walking tour that takes in all the major sites of Imperial Prussia/Germany, Nazi Germany and then the Cold War hot spots. The guides are amazing, and tell some fantastic stories. You get to walk around the Brandenburg Gate, 18 years ago if you stood next to this gate you would be shot! Stand on the entrance to Hitlers Bunker where he killed himself and finish off at Checkpoint Charlie, one of the checkpoints through the Berlin Wall! It takes care of a lot of the major sites of the city and allows you to see lots of other things in your free time.”

Hi guys just wondering…. You get to see most of this as part of the contiki tour when in berlin.. EG: Brandenberg Gate, Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie etc… so I dont know why its listed as an option (The walking tour) I mean, I’m a huge history nerd, I’ve studied WW2 Germany in depth, and would love to see Hitlers bunker and those little bits and pieces. But I just wanted to double check with anybody who’s done the walking tour as well as the standard tour you do with you contiki group. Is it different? Worth it? Or is it best to use that “optional” as your own free time to see it your self?

It’s best to check the tour itinerary pages for the most up to date prices, but at the time of writing, it’s 9€
